2023 Mainstage Auditions

What You Need to Know

Who: Actors, singers and actor/singers ages 15 and up. 

Where: The Brookland Lakeview Empowerment Center in West Columbia (1218 Batchelor St, West Columbia, SC 29169) 

When: Sunday, June 11th 3-5PM and Monday, June 12th 6-8PM 

Auditions are drop-in style and will consist of 24-32 bars of a Broadway-style song sung a cappella and cold readings from the scripts from each show. 

Please complete this Google Form noting which shows you are interested in/available for. 

If you have a headshot and resume, please bring hard copies to your audition. 

**If you are unable to make an in-person audition, please submit the Google Form and send a video recording of your song selection and a 60-second contemporary comedic monologue to jerry@columbiachildrenstheatre.com by June 11th. 

Generally, rehearsals run weeknights from 6pm-9pm 5 weeks prior to opening. Pay is between $25 and $50 per show depending on experience and show location.
