Chicago Auditions

What You Need to Know:

Auditions for Chicago are open to all actors in grades 7 – 12. 
Auditions will take place on Saturday, June 5 at 6:00PM and Sunday, June 6 at 6:00PM.
Please plan to arrive before the start time listed above, as we will all audition as a group.  The audition process should take approximately 2 hours.
  • Fill out the Online Audition Form and Conflict Calendar 
  • Review the Production Information Sheet (pdf file)
  • Be prepared to perform one of the following songs:
  • You will be taught a short choreography routine
  • You only need to attend one audition session unless you are asked to return for a callback audition. Rehearsals begin June 15. Rehearsals will generally be held Monday through Friday evenings, Saturday times vary, and Sunday afternoons. Performances will be July 30-August 1, at Spring Valley High School.

Adapted in collaboration with iTheatrics, Kander & Ebb's legendary and award-winning musical about fame, fortune and “all that jazz” is specifically designed to be content-appropriate for middle and high school performers and has been adapted to remove overtly sexual references and adult language. “We plan to return to the original 1975 concept of the play,” says show director and CCT Director of Education Paul Lindley, “which highlighted the world of vaudeville, used sets and costumes!”
